The AMA Arenacross Series, Sunday Amateur day is divided into four regions throughout the United States. A variety of Youth and Amateur classes race for fame, glory, and points. These points are totaled in each separate region in order to crown the top 5 riders in each class. The amateur points system is the same as the pro points system, found at www.arenacross.com.

The 2007-2008 season will qualify 400 of the best amateur rider in the nation to participate in the 8th annual Arenacross Amateur World Finals.

Five riders from 20 different classes and four different regions will make their way to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV to race on Sunday of the US Open – the biggest payout in dirtbike racing.

North: Des Moines, Rockford Grand Rapids, Dayton, Youngstown, Green Bay

South: Kansas City, Dallas, Albuquerque, Louisville

East: Albany, Rochester, Baltimore, Hampton, Pikeville, Greensboro

West: Reno, Albuquerque, Sacramento, Denver
