Have you raced in the US Open before? If so, what was it like? If no, what do you expect? Is this your first time to Vegas? This is my 1 st time to the US Open and hopefully not my last. I look forward to the trip with my friends and family and to meeting my competition and making new friends. I raced in the KJSC in Las Vegas at Sam Boyd Stadium last May which was wicked awesome.
What are you doing to get ready for Las Vegas? I am practicing as much as possible and training at football so I will be in top condition for the race.
What is more exciting last day of school or racing in Las Vegas? Well, that’s an easy question…duuh…racing in Vegas!
What got you to the Amateur Arenacross World Finals? My Dad and I drove over 6000 miles to every race of the East series.
What is favorite thing to do at the race? The holeshot is what I’m best at…I love the start.
What are you most looking forward to doing in Vegas? Having fun…I’m going to Vegas baby…
Who is going to Las Vegas with you? My sister Hellena and my Dad will make the trip with me. My Aunt Trisha and my cousins Brandon and Taylor live in Vegas so they will come to the races also. My friends Jake, Justin, Will and Pat are going to race also so we will be hanging out at the races.
Did either of your parents or siblings race? Do they give you advice? My Dad raced one time recently on his old Maico, and my sister raced for a year or so. My Dad spends a lot of time helping me.
Do you have a good luck charm? I always wear my favorite Troy Lee helmet for Arenacross races.
How did you come up with your number on your bike? Well…my birthday is on May 5 th…so I race with the number 55…
What part of the Supercross track are you MOST looking forward to? I like the starts…whoops, and rhythm section.
What part of the Supercross track are you LEAST looking forward to? The catapult…and the finish because the race is over…
What is your MOST memorable moment of the Arenacross season? At GreensboroNC, I had the lead for most of the race till I got stuck in lap traffic and I lost a close race at the finish.
What interests or hobbies do you have outside of motocross? I also play football and like to ride my BMX bike.
Who is your favorite rider? Ricky Carmichael…I wore his number 4 at the KJSC race!
Which riders do you hope to see in Las Vegas? Ricky, Ryan Villopoto, Trey Canard.
